Both inside covers (front and back) are printed in blue ink instead of black. There is some discoloration on the covers from handling and storageware, which is to he expected with a book its age. There are four marks on the back written lightly in red ink. The gold seam is torn. The book has 12 full color drawings, and a thirteenth page that opens up into one extended full-color picture. Six of the thirteen pages have moveable pictures with tabs. All moveable pages have working pull tabs. The first and second reading pages have started to tear at the seam as well. The second page also has a piece of tape in the middle on the bottom part of the page where it started to rip. A few pages have small “rust” stains from the metal tacks on previous moveable page. The twelfth page has a couple of tiny rips at the top. The very last page that is blank, has blue marks from rubbing against the inside back cover.
Book is in good used vintage condition. This beautiful book is a work of art and a great display and/or conversation piece!
